Pd@CN-COF: a pool for palladium(0)-catalyzed reactions

New cyanovinylene-linked COF (CN-COF) was designed, synthesized, and utilized as a support for palladium nanoparticles. The resulting Pd@CN-COF was fully characterized, and its catalytic performance was evaluated in seven palladium-catalyzed reactions, including cross-coupling reactions, cyanation, and allylic substitution. The catalytic activity of Pd@CN-COF was further demonstrated in synthetically valuable transformations leading to industrially, agrochemically, and pharmacologically relevant products.
