This dataset contains emulated virtual reality request traces used to evaluate caching policies for collaborative VR and social-metaverse workloads. Each CSV row represents one object request generated by a VR client at a given simulation timestamp. Requests are generated as clients move through a virtual city and objects become visible to them. The traces capture different client correlation patterns, including structured following, unstructured following, and periodic follower order shuffling. The dataset was used to evaluate cache hit ratios under different caching policies, including LRU, LFU, LFRU, and LFRUS. `Object_size` is measured in MB. Trace format Each CSV row represents one object request generated by a VR client at a given simulation timestamp. A request is generated when an object becomes visible to the client and is not already available in the client's local cache. | Column | Description ||---|---|| `Timestamp` | Simulation timestamp for the request. || `UserID` | Identifier of the VR client generating the request, such as `Leader`, `Follower0`, `Follower1`, etc. || `ObjectID` | Identifier of the requested virtual object. || `UserX`, `UserY`, `UserZ` | 3D position of the VR client in the virtual city coordinate system. || `ObjectX`, `ObjectY`, `ObjectZ` | 3D position of the requested object. || `Object_dis` | Euclidean distance between the client and the object at the time of the request. || `Object_size` | Size of the requested object version. The requested version depends on the client-object distance. |
