Parametric Spectrum Estimator (PSE) to estimate the Doppler Moments of precipitation Doppler Spectrum

This repository contains the programs needed to estimate Doppler Moments of an extended target like precipitation when observed with a weather Doppler radar using the proposed approach in [1] (Parametric Spectrum Estimator (PSE)). This repository is based on simulated radar echoes. This repository shows an example statistical analysis of PSE with a parameter sweep and compares it with the state-of-the-art techniques. The details can be found in the README file of the software package.
