IRMA Version of DDSM LJPEG DataDigital Database for Screening Mammography (DDSM) in PNG Format

<strong>Remark</strong><br>On this page, you can access data that has been used in several scientific studies. In order to make the results comparable, these datasets are available for other non-commercial evaluations. <strong>Description</strong><br>This data set provides 9,852 radiograps from the Digital Database for Screening Mammography (DDSM), University of South Florida. The original data is provided at http://marathon.csee.usf.edu/Mammography/Database.html for download in a special binary format. Conversion of these binaries is cumbersome and has been done within the IRMA project.Using this IRMA version must be in compliance with all restrictions of DDSM. In addition, please acknowledge the Use of the IRMA version according to our transfer agreement. According to the DDSM names, directory and cases, the package provides all radiographs in full resolution and 16bit PNG format, stored into a TAR archive and compressed with GNU Zip. Using Windows systems, the binary images can be extracted, for instance, using WinRAR:Normal in total 12 volumes of normal casesCancer in total 15 volumes of cancer casesBenign in total 14 volumes of benign cases
