Pontrelli quarry dataset

Dataset Description – Pontrelli Quarry Digital Outcrop Models Pontrelli quarry outcrop is located near Altamura town (Puglia, Italy). This dataset includes all the Digital Outcrop Models (DOMs) acquired from the Pontrelli Quarry outcrop. It contains orthomosaics, interpreted fracture network shapefiles, and a high-resolution point cloud, organized as follows: Pontrelli_pavement.zipContains the orthomosaic of the horizontal quarry pavement, the interpretation boundary shapefile (polygon), and the fracture set shapefiles (polyline). Pontrelli_wall.zipContains the orthomosaic of the vertical wall adjacent to the pavement, the interpretation boundary shapefile (polygon), and the fracture set and bedding shapefiles (polyline). Wall_point_cloud.zipContains the high-resolution point cloud of the vertical wall in .bin format. This archive includes both the raw point cloud (approximately 300 million points) and the 2D features extracted following the workflow described in the related publication.
