Sensitivity and specificity of DPP® Fever Panel II Asia in the diagnosis of malaria, dengue and melioidosis

This is a part of prospective observational (non-interventional) study of community-acquired sepsis and severe sepsis in Sunpasithiprasong Hospital, Ubon Ratchathani province, northeast Thailand (NCT02217592). We prospectively enrolled adult patients (age≥18 years) who were admitted with a primary diagnosis of suspected or documented infection made by the attending physician, were within 24 hours of hospital admission, and had at least three sepsis diagnostic criteria documented in the medical record.The manuscript report sensitivity and specificity of DPP® Fever Panel II for malaria, dengue and melioidosis. The data comprises of diagnosis and test results of 618 patients at Sunpasitthiprasong Hospital, Ubon Ratchathani province, Thailand. There are two files, the data and the data descriptions.
