This dataset includes the tridimensional modeled physical and biogeochemical variables that support the results of the article "Spatiotemporal variability and drivers of modeled primary production rates in the Northern Humboldt Current System". Contained within a single NetCDF file ("Simulation.nc") of approximately 1.3GB, this dataset encompasses monthly mean values of crucial variables to this study. These variables include the concentration of diatoms, the concentration of nanophytoplankton (nano), primary production in diatoms, primary production in nano, chlorophyll in diatoms, chlorophyll in nano, nitrate, phosphate, silicate, ammonium, iron, photosynthetically active radiation (PAR), temperature, mixed layer depth, and euphotic layer depth. These variables collectively offer a comprehensive view of the biogeochemical and physical factors that underpin primary production in the Northern Humboldt Current System, contributing to a deeper understanding of the region's ecological dynamics. All the variables were vertically interpolated each 5 meters from the surface to 50 m depth. Furthermore, it includes a list of the biogeochemical parameters employed in this study (namelist.trc.sms)
