Study of fungal diversity in New Zealand vineyards, wineries, and native forests.

This study examines the relationship between fungal communities in both managed and unmanaged terrestrial ecosystems and commercial winery tanks in New Zealand wine growing regions. Here we examine what fungal species from vineyards or native forests appear in commercially pressed grape juice as well as those appearing at the initial stages of fermentation.
