D-Score biodiversity index: component data and validation for 10 NEON sites
收藏资源简介:
Data and code supporting: Hart, J. (2026). A multi-dimensional biodiversity index (D-Score) integrating taxonomic richness, productivity, functional structure, and spectral diversity across NEON sites. Methods in Ecology and Evolution (submitted, Manuscript ID: MEE-26-04-332). Contents: dscore_run7_components.csv — D-Score component values (T, P, F, S), composite D-Score, and independent validation metrics (LAI, canopy height, iNaturalist richness) for 10 NEON sites. dscore_run7_rarefaction.csv — Rarefaction-corrected iNaturalist species richness per site. dscore_run7_sensitivity.csv — Weight sensitivity analysis: D-Score ranks under alternative T-component weights (0.20-0.40). rarefaction_model.py — Python code implementing the rarefaction correction model. README.md — Full variable descriptions and data provenance. D-Score formula: D = 0.30T + 0.25P + 0.25F + 0.20S, where components are z-score normalized. All NEON data accessed via the neonUtilities R package. LAI values compiled from published site-level studies.
