This project employs 16S rRNA and ITS amplicon sequencing to characterize the bacterial and fungal communities in soils under different tobacco cropping systems (including rotation with wheat, rape, and sweet potato, as well as continuous cropping) across different counties in Linyi City, Shandong Province, China. The aim is to understand how agricultural practices shape the soil microbiome.
