The supply balance sheet for meat for Germany contains the items: "Gross domestic production", "Import of live animals", "Export of live animals", "Net production", "Starting stock of meat", "Final stock of meat", "Total imports", "Total imports including EU 27", "Total exports", "Total exports including EU 27", "Total consumption", "Total consumption kg/capita", "Total human consumption", "Total human consumption kg/capita", "Self-sufficiency %"
For the products: Pork, beef and veal, poultry meat, chicken meat, turkey meat, goose meat, duck meat, other poultry meat, sheep meat and goat meat, horse meat, other meat, offal, total meat
Comments: slaughter weight of bovine animals, calves, pigs, sheep referred to in 1. FlGDV with a 2 % deduction for cooling losses; Calfs converted to cuts of large cattle. Excluded is per capita consumption and consumption. Population as at 30/06/2023: 84.48 million inhabitants (calculation basis: Data from the 2011 census). Other animals including hunting and farmed game, lagomorphs. There are no data for the provisional year, so the values of the previous year have been adopted.
