This repository contains the raw data associated with the publication linked below. The dataset contains the demographics of the human participants (subjects.csv) and the scores they obtained in the experiment (scores.csv). The fields are described below:

<li><b>subjects.csv</b>: Demographics of the participants.
<ul>
<li><i>subject</i>: The identification number of the participant.</li>
<li><i>age</i>: The age of the participant, in years.</li>
<li><i>education</i>: Education level, see the article for details.</li>
<li><i>sex</i>: Male or female.</li>
<li><i>grp</i>: The group ("musician" or "non-musician").</li>
<li><i>musical-training</i>: Years of musical training.</li>
</ul>

<li><b>scores.csv</b>: Intelligibility scores for the speech on speech task.
<ul>
<li><i>id</i>: The entry number.</li>
<li><i>subject</i>: The identification number of the participant.</li>
<li><i>grp</i>: The group ("musician" or "non-musician").</li>
<li><i>round</i>: The block of testing.</li>
<li><i>f0</i>: The average fundamental frequency (f0) difference between target and masker, in semitones.</li>
<li><i>vtl</i>: The apparent vocal-tract length (VTL) difference between target and masker, in semitones.</li>
<li><i>tmr</i>: Target-to-masker ratio, in decibels.</li>
<li><i>n_correct</i>: Number of words reported correctly in this condition (across all sentences).</li>
<li><i>n_words</i>: Number of words presented in this condition (across all sentences).</li>
<li><i>score</i>: n_correct/n_words.</li>
