资源简介:
Dataset was initially utilized in Senior et al. 2013 (https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0060088); data from this paper were recategorized through the addition of rarity levels and reanalyzed using phylogenetic comparative methods to address untested hypotheses and provide new results unrelated to Senior et al. 2013. Both datasets provide information regarding the above- and belowground biomass of 25 species of Tasmanian Eucalyptus grown in a common garden varying in rarity. The dataset titled “Metadata” contains the full dataset used to create figures and retrieve statistics regarding the biomass of rare versus common species. The dataset titled "pgls_data" contains the data used for phylogenetic analyses such as phylogenetic generalized least squares (PGLS) and calculating Blomberg's K values. PGLS models were used to examine the relationships between rarity and aboveground, belowground, and total biomass, as well as the relationship between biomass * subgenera and range size, habitat specificity, and local population aggregation. The txt file titled "Wooliver et al._phylogeny" contains the full phylogeny for 29 species of Tasmanian Eucalyptus. The txt file titled "eucalyptus_phylogeny_pruned" contains the steps to prune the Wooliver et al._phylogeny taken from Wooliver et al. 2017 (https://esajournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ecy.1896) to the 25 species of interest used in all analyses with permission from Rachel Wooliver.
