资源简介:
The NOAA Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS) operates and maintains a network of long-term water level stations called the National Water Level Observation Network (NWLON). NWLON stations are located on shore-based platforms, and primarily collect real-time water level measurements. In addition, CO-OPS runs the Physical Oceanographic Real-Time Systems (PORTS) program. PORTS is a decision support program that comprises a group of water level stations in and around U.S. ports and harbors to improve the safety and efficiency of maritime commerce and coastal resource management. Most of the NWLON and PORTS stations also collect real-time meteorological and physical Oceanographic data. Data parameters include barometric pressure, wind direction, speed and gust, air temperature, and water temperature.
