Data and code: Listener preferences and psychophysiological responses to acoustic conditions in a music performance space
收藏资源简介:
De-identified participant-level data and analysis code supporting the subjective-rating and heart rate variability (HRV) analyses of the article "Listener preferences and psychophysiological responses to acoustic conditions in a music performance space" (Scientific Reports, under revision). Thirty-three listeners heard two binaural auralizations of the same performance hall (Condition A: existing hall; Condition B: modified design) in one session. The data set contains, for each participant, the ratings of reverberance, clarity, spatial impression and overall preference for both conditions, the 21 HRV parameters exported by the SA-3000NEW device for the baseline record and for the listening and recovery records of each condition, and the presentation order reconstructed from the device timestamps. Files: participant_summary.csv (one row per participant), codebook.csv (definition and unit of every column), README.md (study design, measurements, de-identification, reproduction), code.zip (Python script that reproduces the rating and HRV statistics reported in the article, with package versions). Names, dates of birth, dates and times of testing, age and sex were removed; raw physiological recordings are not included.
