The Seattle Aquarium Coastal Climate Resilience benthic imagery dataset consists of images collected by a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) at eight sites across Elliott Bay near Seattle. The dataset is used for tasks such as image classification, image feature extraction, image segmentation, keypoint detection, and object detection. This collection represents the cumulative efforts of the Seattle Aquarium CCR program personnel in gathering and post-processing benthic imagery, aiming to automate image processing for subsequent analyses.
