Trip Generation Zones - Zones (2017)

These zones are units of geography that are used in CMAP's transportation modeling activities. Zone boundaries are derived from the Public Land Survey System (PLSS). This version of the CMAP modeling zones differs from previous versions in that there are nearly twice as many zones. Zones covering more dense or more diverse areas have been subdivided and Census-based zone boundaries have been replaced to give all zones PLSS-based boundaries.
