TRM12 transforms yW-187 yielding yW-86 at nucleotide 37 of tRNA(Phe)

TRM12 transfers an aminocarboxypropyl group from S-adenosymethionine to yW-187 (4-demethylwyosine) at nucleotide 37 of tRNA(Phe), yielding yW-86 (7-((3S)-3-amino-3-carboxypropyl)-4-demethylwyosine) and S-methyl-5'-thioadenosine (Noma et al. 2006, Noma and Suzuki 2006).

TRM12将氨基羧丙基团从S-腺苷甲硫氨酸转移至tRNA(Phe)的第37个核苷酸上的yW-187（4-去甲基wyosine），生成yW-86（7-((3S)-3-氨基-3-羧丙基)-4-去甲基wyosine）和S-甲基-5'-硫代腺苷（Noma et al. 2006，Noma and Suzuki 2006）。
