Locations and management strategies for prioritizing King Rail conservation efforts in the Mississippi Alluvial Valley
收藏资源简介:
Provided are the .asc files (coordinate system: WGS_1984_Albers) used to predict King Rail occupancy in the Mississippi Alluvial Valley, as overviewed in the associated article published by Ecological Solutions and Evidence (Brewer et al. 2026). The PRBN_BR file provides output for the breeding period, from a model generated using a double-blind peer review process to elicit expert knowledge. The PRBN_NB file is for the non-breeding period, and used the same approach. The LRBN_BR file provides output for the breeding period, from a model generated using a literature review. The LRBN_NB file is for the non-breeding period, and used a the same approach. Brighter colors indicate a greater predicted probability of King Rail occurrence. Additional detail about how the models were generated are available via this paper: Brewer, Dustin E., et al. "Predicting secretive species distribution using Bayesian networks with and without expert collaboration: A case study incorporating double‐blind peer review." Ecological Solutions and Evidence 6.4 (2025): e70140.
