The goal of this study was to determine role of the circadian regulator Bmal1 in metabolic regulation in pro-inflammatory ("M1") activating by bacterial lipopolysaccharide. Wild-type ("WT") and myeloid-specific Bmal1 KO ("M-BKO") bone marrow-derived macrophages were primed with interferon gamma overnight and treated without or with lipolysaccharide for another 8 hours to induce M1 activation. N=3 biological replicates.
