Genome sequencing and comparative analysis of endemic and related plant species in Uzbekistan

This project aims to generate DNA sequence data for endemic and closely related plant species occurring in Uzbekistan. The data will be used to study genetic diversity, phylogenetic relationships, and genome evolution, with a particular focus on organellar genomes and molecular marker development. These results will contribute to improving taxonomic resolution, understanding evolutionary history, and supporting conservation of regional flora. All sequence data are being deposited to provide a resource for future systematic and genomic studies of Central Asian plants.
