TherMoBaum - Infrared images of trees for damage detection. Recordings in the Rostock area

Measurement data from the mFUND project TherMoBaum. Measurement data from the Rostock urban forest, which were recorded with a hand-held camara system, and measurement data from a measurement trip in Saxony Anhalt between Klostermansfeld and Wippra are provided. The data contains images in the infrared and visual spectrum. From the data of the thermal camera, the temperature fields can be calculated by conversion. The aim of the feasibility study was to examine the suitability of thermal images for fault detection on trees and to test them for the use of a rail vehicle.
