The table shows selected characteristics, which were included in the univariate regression analysis. All variables, that approached statistical significance (pTroponin peak – peak troponin level during hospitalization, AF – the presence of atrial fibrillation at admission or anytime during index hospitalization, STEMI – myocardial infarction with ST-segment elevation, BMI – body mass index, Glucose – glucose at admission, ALT – alanine aminotransferase, AST – aspartate amino transferase, LV EF – left ventricular ejection fraction, CAD severity – the extension of coronary artery disease, Complete revascularization – the absence of any stenosis of 50% or more in at least one coronary artery at discharge, Procedural difficulties – the combination of slow flow, no reflow od side branch occlusion during PCI.
