This study aims to determine the effects of 1 year of simulated tropical conditions on soil bacteria from South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. Monitoring of soil bacterial diversity and composition was done by sequencing the V3-V4 region of bacterial 16S rDNA using the MiSeq platform.
