This retrospective cohort study includes 570 adults with T2DM from a low-income setting in health district 17D06, Quito, Ecuador, diagnosed before January 1, 2019. Interviews were conducted (April 2022–March 2023), and clinical data were collected up to 12 months later. Data extraction occurred from digital records (July–September 2024).
