The Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM) records in perpetuity all\r\nbirths, adoptions, marriages, relationships and deaths occurring in the state\r\nof Victoria and provides certificates of these events to individuals. It also\r\nregisters changes of name and manages Victoria’s donor treatment registers\r\n(Central Register and Voluntary Register). Other services include family\r\nhistory resources and products through Vic Heritage™ and civil marriage\r\nservices at the Victorian Marriage Registry. The data reflects key activities\r\nin 2011/12.\r\n\r\n
