Heart–Geomagnetic Coupling in Human Sleep Correlation Analysis of HRV and OMNI/AE/Dst Parameters Across 16 Nights (2006 Dataset)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset and accompanying analysis explore the potential relationship between geomagnetic activity and human autonomic regulation during sleep.Sixteen overnight ECG recordings from the Kyoto-Polysomnographic Database were synchronized with minute-resolution space-weather parameters from NASA’s OMNI dataset (solar wind velocity, interplanetary magnetic field, dynamic pressure, AE and SYM-H indices, and Dst).Heart Rate Variability (HRV) metrics were computed in 5-minute non-overlapping windows, and Pearson cross-correlations were calculated for time lags of ±60 minutes. Results show no consistent or strong association between HRV parameters and electromagnetic indices, confirming the robust autonomy of cardiac regulation.A weak but reproducible negative tendency (r ≈ –0.08 ± 0.02) was observed between SDNN and Dst with a lag of approximately –20 minutes.
