Legal status of boundary lines of the Valencian Community according to their registration in the Central Registry of Cartography. This cartography classifies the limit lines according to the following legal statuses: Legally endorsed or compliant: means that there is a legal title that endorses the line. This title can be an administrative resolution, judicial sentence or a demarcation act where the municipalities expressed their express agreement or one of them did not attend the signing act but it is conclusively stated that they were summoned to said act. Provisional: The demarcation document expressly states the disagreement between the municipalities on the complete line, or the geometry is not supported by any legal title. In the RCC geometry is considered as provisional and without legal value. Partially provisional: The demarcation document expressly states the disagreement between the municipalities on some segment of the line, or the geometry in some part is not supported by any legal title In accordance with article 43.3 of the same law, the ICV, in collaboration with the municipalities, annually plans the works and executes them. The technical work is carried out in collaboration with the Town Councils and with the IGN, which will ultimately supervise it. Once this phase is completed, Additional Acts are signed in that case of provisional or partially provisional boundary lines. Finally, the IGN is requested to update the documentation in the RCC regarding the affected lines, cartographic information and the incorporation of the resolutions approving the geometric improvements made
