2261. Size 81/2 in. by 41/2 in.; foll. 81. Eleven lines in a page.
I. Foll. 1-34. A work on the nativity of Muḥammad (مولد النبی), in the legendary style, mixed with prayers and poetry. The author is not known.
It begins with the first Sûrah; next follow the words, هذا کتاب مولد النبی صلعم بسم الله ..الحمد لله الذی شرّف الانام بصاحب المقام الاعلی.
It concludes (fol. 31): تم المولد الشریف العظیم مولد المصطفی, and is followed by a prayer.
Foll. 35-64. Another work of the same kind.
It begins also with the first Sûrah, after which follow the words, هذا مولود النبی صلی الله علیه بسم الله ..سبحان العزیز الغفار، الحلیم الستار،. It concludes (fol. 62): تم المولد الشریف العظیم مولده المصطفی صلعم, and is followed by a prayer, دعاء مولود النبی.
Foll. 65-81. Various prayers and benedictions on the Prophet, and on ‘Abd al- ḳâdir Gîlânî, mostly in verse.
Well written in a large hand. Ornamented with red lines.
