Ocean color provinces of the North Sea

The following R project contains all scripts required to reproduce the analysis of Taylor et al. (in press). <strong>R scripts:</strong> Pre-processing of raw Globcolor ocean color (OC) data into raster “bricks” (<em>do not run; raw data files are not included</em>) 01_make_bands_1D_25KM.R01_make_bands_8D_25KM.R01_make_bands_MO_25KM.R Pre-processing of raw abiotic covariate into raster “bricks” (<em>do not run; raw data files are not included</em>) 02_make_other_abio_fields.R Ocean color type clustering with monthly mean normalized reflectance bands 03_clustering_mergeMO_25k.R Produce match-up data between Continuous Plankton Recorder (CPR) samples and other covariates (including ocean color types) 04_cprMatchupsDB.R Produce match-up data between ocean color types and other covariates 05_fullEnvDB.R Zooplankton community analysis: Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA), SIMPER analysis. Argument <em>ocData</em> at top of script defines the CPR match-up data to be used (“oc8D” for 8-day mean and “oc1D” for daily mean match-ups). Requires &gt; 5 Gb of memory for SIMPER analysis 06_multivar_analysis.R Empirical Orthogonal Functions (EOF) and Redundancy Analysis (RDA) 07_drivers_of_octypes.R<b>References</b>:Taylor, M.
