Erasmus+ KA2 Mobility Data 2014-2023: Enhanced with NUTS3 Regional Codes, ETER Institutional Characteristics, and Eurostat Socioeconomic Indicators

This dataset provides a comprehensively enriched version of Erasmus+ Key Action 2 (KA2) Strategic Partnerships mobility data covering the period 2014-2023. The dataset contains 206,448 individual mobility records between European higher education institutions, enhanced with multiple layers of geographic, institutional, and socioeconomic information.ENHANCEMENTS INCLUDED:1. NUTS3 Regional Codes (99.94% coverage) - Dual-provider geocoding (ArcGIS + Nominatim) - LLM-assisted validation of problematic locations - Manual corrections for 525 difficult cases - Spatial matching to NUTS 2021 boundaries2. ETER Institutional Characteristics - Linkage to European Tertiary Education Register (ETER) - 1,986 institutions matched (4.4% of records) - Includes: academic staff, core revenues, third-party funding, publications - ROR (Research Organization Registry) validation included3.
