Transcription profiling of prCAD -/- mouse, a mouse model for retinal degeneration

This experiment was designed to identify transcripts that exhibit changes in abundance in the context of retinal degeneration by comparing transcript levels in adult wild type and prCAD -/- mouse retinas. Experiment Overall Design: Retinas were dissected from ~4 week old mice. Retinas from 3 prCAD knockout mice or wild type 129 mice were pooled for each sample and 3 replicate of wild type and mutant samples were analyzed.本实验旨在通过比较成年野生型与prCAD基因敲除（prCAD -/-）小鼠视网膜的转录本（transcript）水平，鉴定在视网膜退行性病变过程中丰度发生变化的转录本。实验整体设计：从约4周龄的小鼠体内分离视网膜组织；将3只prCAD基因敲除小鼠或野生型129小鼠的视网膜组织混合作为一份实验样本，分别对野生型与突变型样本各设置3次生物学重复并进行分析。
