5G pricing panel data (China, 2018 to 2020)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains province-level panel data on mobile data pricing and 5G co-investment in China from 2018 to 2020. It was prepared to support an academic study titled "Efficiency or Collusion? Empirical Evidence from China’s 5G Co-investment Strategy", which is currently being finalized for submission to a peer-reviewed journal. The dataset includes: Average mobile data prices (price per GB) across 24 Chinese provinces Co-investment status of the telecom operators (Co-investing firm (CIF): China Unicom (CU) and China Telecom (CT); independently investing firm: China Mobile (CM)) Control variables such as the timing of free calling (TFC) offers and province-specific characteristics (id) The data supports a difference-in-differences (DID) and propensity score matching DID (PSM-DID) analysis used to estimate the causal impact of 5G infrastructure co-investment on tacit collusion. Embargo notice: The dataset is under embargo until the associated manuscript is accepted for publication. A DOI has been reserved and will be cited in the article upon submission.
