In this study, a TNBS-induced inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) model for Wistar rats was established using a method involving enema administration of a 5% TNBS aqueous solution diluted 1:1 with ethanol, at a dosage of 100 mg/kg. Upon successful induction of the TNBS, CYN and mesalazine were administered via gavage for 7 days. The intestinal content was used for high-throughput sequencing.
