Effects of LINC02154 knockdown on gene expression profiles in KON cells

We identified LINC02154 as a novel HNSCC-related lncRNA. To study the function of LINC02154 in HNSCC cells, we knocked down LINC02154 in KON cells. We found that genes associated with cell cycle and mitochondrial genes were significantly affected by LINC02154 knockdown in KON cells. KON cells (1^10E5 cells) were transfected with 20 pmol Pre-designed DsiRNA (LINC02154 DsiRNA; Integrated DNA Technologies Inc.) or a negative control DsiRNA (Integrated DNA Technologies Inc.) using a Lipofectamine RNAiMAX (Thermo Fisher Scientific) and were incubated for 72h.
