Charred seeds from a rock shelter at Klondike Gold Rush National Historical
Park, Alaska, were sent to determine whether they were Oemleria or another type
of seed. The shelter is believed to have been used primarily by Tlingit people.
The seeds were identified to help provide information concerning plants used by
the rock shelter occupants.
