资源简介:
This dataset supports the study titled "Hyperglycemia impairs placental immune responses against Group B Streptococcus infection". It includes experimental data from human placental villous explants exposed to varying glucose concentrations (5, 10, and 50 mM) and challenged with Streptococcus agalactiae (Group B Streptococcus, GBS). The dataset contains raw and processed results related to bacterial growth and adherence, syncytial integrity, cytokine and chemokine gene expression and secretion (including TNF-α, MCP-1, and MIP-1β), TLR-2 expression at the mRNA and protein levels, and chemotactic responses of intervillous mononuclear cells (IVMC), including monocytes and NK cells. The data provide insight into how hyperglycemia alters the placental immune response to bacterial infection and may contribute to increased susceptibility to GBS-associated pregnancy complications.
