Screening Acid Tolerance Genes in Lentilactobacillus kefiri through Whole-Genome Sequencing

This study employed whole-genome sequencing and comparative genomic analysis of acid-tolerant and non-acid-tolerant Lentilactobacillus kefiri strains to identify acid-tolerance-related genes. First, whole-genome sequencing was performed on strains with varying acid tolerance levels, followed by genome assembly and annotation using bioinformatics tools. Comparative genomic analysis was then conducted to identify differential genes, and functional enrichment analysis was used to elucidate the potential mechanisms of acid tolerance.
