Antigen-presenting innate lymphoid cells induced by BCG vaccination promote a respiratory antiviral immune response through the skin-lung axis (PRJCA035145)

Transcriptome of lung ILC1s 28 days after subcutaneous BCG vaccination with or without subsequent H1N1 infection. At day 28 post 5x10^6 cells BCG subcutaneously vaccination or not (PBS and BCG group), a portion of mice infected intranasally with sublethal dose of 20 TCID50 PR8 for 3 days (PBS-PR8 and BCG-PR8 group). The lung ILC1s in four group were isolated as Lin-CD19-CD45+CD127+NKp46+NK1.1+ (Lin=CD3, CD45R, CD11b, TER-119, Ly-6G) by flow cytometry. Lung ILC1s were lysed with TRIzol reagent and RNA was extracted by phenol-chloroform.
