This study examines the determinants of the access to financial services, digital technologies, and government support mechanisms that have influenced the resilience and performance of microenterprises in Colombia during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Using data from the 2022 Microbusiness Survey by DANE and a sample of over 12,805 microenterprises, quantitative methods are employed, including descriptive statistical analysis and logistic regression models. The results indicate that Microenterprises that obtained bank loans show a higher probability of adopting electronic banking services and digital technologies, increasing their capacity to adapt to the market. In contrast, those who rely on informal lenders exhibit a lower propensity to use digital financial technologies, evidencing the need for policies that promote financial inclusion. The study also reveals sectoral and geographical disparities in adopting financial services and digital technologies. Sectors such as administrative services, health, and industry show higher adoption than agriculture. A significant gap is observed between urban and rural areas, suggesting the need to improve digital infrastructure in disadvantaged zones. The findings have important implications for public policies promoting equitable access to financial and technological resources, especially in rural areas and less digitized sectors.
