This is the first release of the UN Peacekeeping Operations Personnel Authorization Dataset. The data cover the period from November 1, 1990, to December 31, 2024. The dataset includes monthly and annual authorized strength data for troops, military observers, and police personnel for all UN PKOs authorized by the UN Security Council (UNSC) during this period. It also provides a summary of all included PKOs. The dataset is available in two formats: .csv and .Rda.
