Microbiomes of different components within karst region. Karst microbiomes

This project includes metagenomic and 16S rRNA amplicon data from aquatic, sediment and soil samples collected within the Siebenhengste region, Switzerland, between 2018-2022. Water and sediments were sampled from different surface and subsurface (caves) locations. Soil samples are representative of all relevant biotopes present within this alpine region. The aim of the project was to follow the potential connections of microbiomes, between and within different components of the karst region.
