Genetic Characterization of Salt-Tolerant Bacteria Producing Exopolysaccharides isolated from Vietnam

This project (SH.D2.06/25) at the Joint Vietnam-Russia Tropical Science and Technology Research Center aims to investigate the genetic traits of salt-tolerant bacterial strains that produce exopolysaccharides, isolated from the soil of coral islands in Vietnam. By understanding the genetic foundation of these bacteria, the project seeks to explore their potential applications in enhancing coastal and island ecosystems, promoting sustainable development, and supporting environmental protection in these areas.
