Osthole has excellent antibacterial activity against crop pathogenic fungi, and can be used to control diseases caused by pathogenic fungi in important cash crops including tomato, cowpea, tea tree, rice, grapes, etc., especially for Botrytis cinerea. Osthole can delay the development of antimicrobial resistance, expand the bactericidal spectrum of pesticides, and reduce the pollution of pesticides to the environment, which is in line with China's policy of reducing pesticide dosage and increasing efficiency, and has broad application prospects in the field of crop disease control. Transcriptome analysis of Staphylobacterium cinerea, treated with Osthole on PDB medium, helps us understand the pathogenesis of Staphylobacterium.
