Nicaragua: positive perception of the United States 2013-2018

A survey conducted between 2013 and 2018 found out that the share of people in Nicaragua with a positive view of the United States has increased lately. Approximately seven out of ten Nicaraguans who participated in the survey in 2018 said that they have either a good or a very good perception of the U.S., up from 68 percent recorded a year earlier.On the other hand, the average rate of positive perceptions of the U.S. in Latin America as a whole has been declining recently.
