Independent Validation Dataset for Airport Fog Assessment at Prešov Airport

The independent validation dataset is a meteorological dataset collected at the Prešov airbase from January 1, 2026, to March 31, 2026. The data were obtained from the Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) at one-minute intervals. After cleaning and filtering, 111,618 complete records were retained. The dataset includes key parameters influencing fog formation: air temperature, dew point temperature, dew point depression, wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, and visibility. This dataset serves as an additional empirical basis for the external validation of the neuro-fuzzy model for predicting fog in airports and for assessing its stability and applicability to independent airport meteorological data.
