Sirt1 mRNA expression data and clinical outcomes in patients receiving sodium valproate: training and validation cohorts.

epilepsyThis dataset contains complete Sirt1 gene expression data (ΔCt, ΔΔCt, and relative expression values) from 303 subjects, including a training set (n = 235) and a validation set (n = 68). Each subject was measured at three time points: baseline, 2 weeks, and 8 weeks after treatment with sodium valproate.

The dataset includes:
1. Ct values for Sirt1 and β-actin (reference gene)
2. ΔCt and ΔΔCt calculations
3. Relative expression (2^-ΔΔCt) for each time point
4. Clinical outcome (presence or absence of postoperative epileptic seizures, POE)

All data are complete without missing values, and β-actin Ct values are stable (22.0–22.9), confirming reference gene stability.

This dataset supports the reproducibility of the analyses presented in [Full manuscript title], which investigated the predictive value of Sirt1 expression dynamics for treatment outcomes.
