PeptideDB

PeptideDB database assembles all naturally occurring signalling peptides from animal source, which are derived by cleavage from prepropeptide precursor proteins. It includes Cytokine and growth factor, Peptide hormones, Antimicrobial peptides, Toxins and venom peptides, and Antifreeze proteins. PeptideDB database (version 1.0, 2008-04-25) consists of 20,027 peptides from 19,438 precursor proteins covering 2,820 metazoan species belonging to 373 peptide families in total.肽数据库（PeptideDB）汇集了所有动物来源的天然信号肽，此类肽段均由前原肽前体蛋白经裂解加工产生。该数据库涵盖细胞因子与生长因子、肽类激素、抗菌肽、毒素与毒液肽以及抗冻蛋白。肽数据库（PeptideDB）1.0版本（发布于2008年4月25日）总计收录20027条肽段，源自19438个前体蛋白，覆盖373个肽家族与2820种后生动物物种。
