Critical and digital edition dataset (XML-TEI) of the corpus of oratorical and epistolary texts connected with the treatise work of Bartolomeo Miniatore (ca. 1420–1485), transmitted by ms. Stresa, Archivio Storico dell’Istituto della Carità, Codici di Santa Giustina, n. 2 (autograph, 1465). This release contains the TEI files underlying the published edition (Basilicata University Press, 2025; ISBN 978-88-31309-45-5) and is enriched with Linked Open Data for interoperable entities and references. The edition is designed for online publication and navigation through EVT (Edition Visualization Technology). The manuscript does not transmit an autonomous formulary: the sixteen texts are interspersed with lyric poems and compositions of a more popular tone, mostly vernacular religious pieces. Particular emphasis is placed on two letters by Orsolina (Bartolomeo’s wife) addressed to Teofilo Calcagnini and Bianca Maria d’Este, which document an intentional strategy to access higher circles of Ferrarese patronage after the couple’s return to the city in 1465. AI-assisted workflow: parts of TEI markup creation and enrichment are supported by Artificial Intelligence, including automated/semi-automated Named Entity Recognition (NER) and Named Entity Disambiguation (NED), with subsequent human curation and validation. The dataset is intended for reuse in philology, Renaissance studies, digital scholarly editing, and computational analysis of early humanistic prose and epistolography.
