Phormium tenax cultivar:Phormium tenax with red leaves Transcriptome or Gene expression

Phormium tenax is a kind of potential ornamental plants with its rich and colorful leaves. Drought is one of the main abiotic stresses that affects plant growth, development and productivity. To clarify the molecular mechanisms of Phormium tenax responding to drought stress, Phormium tenax transcriptome was sequenced by the Illumina paired-end sequencing technology under normal and drought conditions, respectively.And this study will provide some novel perceptions about Phormium tenax responses to drought tolerance, which can be applied to guide future work that attempt to breed drought resistant in plants.
